Attic Planner: fit the bed and desk under your sloped ceiling in 3D

Home Planner is an attic planner. It shows what fits under your roof before the renovation starts. Draw the attic, add the sloped ceilings, place every item at its real size, and walk through it in 3D. A bed that does not fit under the sloped ceiling is a costly surprise once it is delivered.

Add sloped ceilings that match your roof

Select a wall or the ceiling and add a sloped ceiling, then set its height and depth to match your roof. Do the same on every sloped wall.

Fit low storage into the space under the eaves

Place low shelves, drawers and cabinets where the sloped ceiling leaves too little height for anything else. Keep a tall wardrobe where the ceiling is highest.

Bring in light with windows and skylights

Add windows and skylight windows from the catalog, then walk through the attic in 3D to see how the room looks.

  • The catalog has windows and skylight windows.
  • Move a window or change its size and look again: nothing is built yet.

Plan the stairs up to the attic

Add a level below if your design has only the attic. Cut a stair opening in the ceiling of that level, then place attic stairs or another staircase from the catalog.

Test one idea before you plan the whole conversion

You don't need a full conversion plan to use an attic planner.

"Where can I stand?"

Add the sloped ceilings, then walk through the attic in 3D and see where the ceiling is high enough.

"Will the bed fit under the slope?"

Place a bed from the catalog under the slope and check the space around it.

"Can the attic be an office?"

Put a desk by the window and shelves along the low wall, and check the path to the stairs.

Yes. The free plan saves up to 10 designs, and each design can hold a whole home. It includes a selection from the catalog and up to 4 AI redesigns to try. One design can hold the attic and the floors below it. PRO adds the full catalog, exact wall sizes, higher AI limits, a renovation cost estimate and sync between devices. PRO+ adds 4K renders, 360° photos and offline mode.

Yes. Select a wall or the ceiling and add a sloped ceiling, then set its height and depth to match your roof. Do the same on every sloped wall and check the result in 3D. Sloped ceilings are free on every plan.

No. Home Planner is built so that you get good results without experience. Follow the four steps at the top of this page: draw the attic, add the sloped ceiling and walk through it in 3D. Start with one question, such as whether the bed fits under the sloped ceiling.

Yes. Draw the attic as it is today, then try it as a bedroom, a home office or a playroom before you talk to a contractor. Structure, insulation and building codes still need a professional.

If your design has only the attic, add a level below it first. Select the ceiling of that level and cut a stair opening, then place attic stairs or another staircase from the catalog. Check the result in 3D.

Yes. Setting the ceiling height is free on every plan. With PRO, type the exact length of every wall, in feet and inches or in meters and centimeters. You can also read wall lengths from a supported laser meter on iPhone, iPad, Android or Mac. On the free plan, you draw the walls on a grid. Draw the floor and the sloped ceilings there first, then type exact sizes with PRO. Follow your device maker's safety instructions, and never point a laser at anyone's eyes.

Yes, on phones that support AR; iPhones with LiDAR make a more detailed scan. Scan the attic into a new design and look around it in 3D. Furnishing or editing a scanned attic needs PRO. On the free plan, draw the attic on the grid and furnish it. Scanning isn't available on Mac or Windows.

Yes. Home Planner runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows, and with PRO your designs sync between devices. Planning and furnishing happen in the app. You can also restyle a photo with AI on our website once you sign in. Try AI Redesign

Yes. Place the beds, cabinets, shelves and lamps on the plan. The list shows each placed item, with its price when the catalog has one, and a total of those prices. Stairs and other building parts are not on the list. The numbers are a guide, so confirm the final price with the store or your contractor. How to estimate renovation costs

Yes. Cancel at any time, and PRO stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Bought on our website? Contact support and we'll help with a refund. Bought in the App Store, Google Play or Steam? The store handles refunds under its own policy.
