  • Main Terms
  • Your Content
  • Credit to Authors
  • Your Promises About Your Content
  • Content Rules

This update takes effect when it is posted, as the earlier version of these terms allowed. The notice in "Policy Changes" applies to later changes.

Main Terms

When you download or use the app, these terms apply to you. You may not copy or modify the app, or use our trademarks, without our permission. You may not try to extract the app's source code, translate the app, or make derivative versions of it. Home Planner is provided by Room Planner Ltd, Digeni Akrita 54, Nicosia 1061, Cyprus ("we", "us"). The app, its catalogue of furniture and materials, and all trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property in them belong to Room Planner Ltd or its licensors. Your own designs are covered by "Your Content" below.

Service Modifications

The developer reserves the right to modify the app or charge for services at any time. Users will receive clear notification before any charges are implemented.

Data and Security

The Home Planner 3D app processes personal data provided by users. Users are responsible for keeping their devices and app access secure. The developer recommends against jailbreaking or rooting devices, as this can introduce vulnerabilities and compromise app functionality.

Your Content

You own the designs, floor plans, images and other content you create in Home Planner ("your content"). We do not claim ownership of it.

Your projects are not shown in the gallery or in other public parts of Home Planner unless you publish them. If you share a project's link, anyone who has that link can open the project, so share links only with people you trust. We use your projects to provide the service to you, for example to save, sync, render and back them up, and to help you when you contact support.

When you publish a design to the public gallery (Explore in the app, Ideas on our website) or another public part of Home Planner, you give Room Planner Ltd a licence to use it. The licence is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free. It lets us store, copy, display, adapt and share the published design, including its images, project, title and description, for two purposes:

  1. to run the public gallery and the other parts of the service where people can view, like, comment on and open published designs, in the app and on our website;
  2. to promote Home Planner: on our website and landing pages, in app store listings, on our social media accounts, in our emails and in our advertising. This purpose covers only designs published in the Home Planner app or on our website. It does not cover designs published in any other app. We use designs published from a company account, such as a business or white-label account, in our promotional materials only with that company's consent.

"Adapt" means technical changes needed to show the design in a particular format or size, such as resizing, cropping, compressing, adding a caption or translating the caption. We do not edit the design itself or change its meaning.

This licence also covers designs you published on or before 29 October 2026 that are still published. You can ask us at any time to stop using one or all of your published designs, or your name, to promote Home Planner: write to support@homeplannerapp.com. We then stop using those designs or your name in new promotional materials and, on request, remove them from promotional materials we control.

Our hosting and content delivery providers, and the AI translation services that translate captions and comments, handle your published content only to provide those services to us. When we post your design on a social network or an ad platform, that platform also handles it under its own terms. We will not sell your content or license it to anyone else for their own use. If another company takes over Home Planner, this licence passes to it on the same terms.

You receive no payment for this use. Publishing is always your choice; the app works without it.

The licence ends for new uses when you unpublish the design or delete your account. We then remove it from the gallery and stop using it in new promotional materials. Copies may remain in our backups for a limited time after that. We do not use backup copies to show or promote your design. Promotional materials we have already published may stay where they were published, for example a social media post or an ad that is running; on request, we remove a specific item where we control it. If your design was open for others to edit, copies they made in their own projects may remain.

Credit to Authors

When we show your published design outside the gallery, we credit you by the display name of your public profile where the format allows. If you prefer not to be named, write to support@homeplannerapp.com, and we will stop naming you in new promotional materials. Promotional materials we have already published may stay where they were published. You can change your display name at any time. Your display name is public: choose one you are happy for people to see.

Your Promises About Your Content

Publish only content you created or have the right to share. Your content must not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. Do not publish photos of other people, their documents or addresses, or other personal data about them, without their permission. Furniture models, materials and other catalogue items you use in a design belong to us or our licensors; publishing a design does not give anyone rights to them.

Content Rules

Do not publish or send content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
  • harasses, threatens or insults people, or attacks them for who they are;
  • is sexual, shows nudity, or shows violence;
  • is spam, advertising, or misleading;
  • infringes someone else's rights, or shows their personal data without permission;
  • contains malware or links to harmful sites.

We may check published content using automated tools and human reviewers. We may refuse, hide or remove content, limit who sees it, or stop an account from publishing when the content or the account breaks these rules or the law. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@homeplannerapp.com, and a person will look at the decision again.

Reporting Content

Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms: use Report in the app, or write to support@homeplannerapp.com. When you write to us, include:

  • the link to the content;
  • why you believe it is illegal or breaks these terms;
  • your name and email address (you do not need to give these if you report child sexual abuse material);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete.

We review reports and may remove or limit the content as described in Content Rules. Copyright and trademark owners can use the same address.

Our address support@homeplannerapp.com is also our single point of contact for users and for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act. You can write to it in any language.

Internet Connection Requirements

Certain app functions require active internet connectivity (Wi-Fi or mobile data). The developer is not responsible for reduced functionality without internet access. Users accept responsibility for any data charges from their mobile provider, including roaming fees outside their home territory.

Device Maintenance

Users must keep their devices charged. The developer accepts no responsibility if devices lose power and become unavailable.

Third-Party Information

The developer relies on third parties for information and accepts no liability for losses resulting from reliance on this data.

App Updates

Updates may be required to maintain compatibility with new versions of the operating systems and web browsers Home Planner runs on. You may need to install an update to keep using the app. We may stop offering Home Planner. If we do, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can, so you have time to save or export your designs.

Policy Changes

We may update these terms when we change Home Planner or when the law changes. For important changes, such as changes to your rights or to how we use your content, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account before that date. If you keep using Home Planner after that date, the new terms apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your country.

We may show translations of these terms. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies, unless the law of your country says otherwise.
