About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Room Planner Ltd, Digeni Akrita 54, Nicosia 1061, Cyprus (“Home Planner”, “we”). They apply to the Home Planner partner program: you recommend Home Planner, and we pay you a commission on the subscriptions you refer.

You accept these terms when you tick “I accept the partner terms” and join. The partner program page gives a short summary; if the summary and these terms differ, these terms apply.

Who can join

Joining is free. Bloggers, reviewers, designers, course authors and anyone else who writes, films or teaches about homes and interiors can join.

• You need a Home Planner account with a confirmed e-mail address. That address becomes your partner e-mail.
• The partner program is not available to residents of countries and territories subject to EU sanctions.
• People and companies on an EU sanctions list, or owned or controlled by anyone who is, cannot join. When you join, you confirm that this does not apply to you.
• We review every new partner. Your first payout is made only after we approve your membership.

Your partner link and code

When you join, you get a partner link and a partner code. Your link is homeplannerapp.com/?via=<your handle>. You can add ?via=<your handle> to the address of any page of homeplannerapp.com.

What your audience gets

A visitor who comes through your link or uses your code gets 10% off their first payment on the website.

• No commission is paid on a purchase by someone who already has a Home Planner subscription.
• The discount is not offered while your membership is paused.

Which purchases count

• A visitor who follows your link stays yours for 90 days. If they later follow another partner's link, the last link counts.
• Subscriptions bought on the website, in the App Store and on Google Play count.
• Only new subscribers count: a person who was already paying for Home Planner before following your link earns you no commission.
• Only real payments count. A free trial is not a payment.
• A purchase from your own account earns no commission for anyone, through any partner's link or code.

Commission

You earn 30% of the net revenue from each payment of a subscriber you referred, for 12 months from that subscriber's first payment.

Net revenue is what we receive for the payment after taxes, such as VAT, and after store or payment fees:

• App Store and Google Play: what the store pays us for the payment after its commission and taxes, as the store reports it or as we calculate it from the store’s reports.
• Website: the payment without tax, less payment processing costs, which we count at 3% of the payment.

We calculate commission in US dollars and pay it in euros.

Payments made while your membership is paused earn no commission.

Refunds and chargebacks

If a payment is refunded in full or in part, or lost in a chargeback, the commission on it goes down by the same share. If that commission was already paid to you, we deduct the difference from your next payouts.

Holds and payouts

• Each commission is held before it can be paid: 30 days for website payments and 60 days for App Store and Google Play payments, so refunds are settled first.
• Payouts open soon; until then your commission is still earned and your balance is kept. Once they open, we pay once a month, in euros, when your balance is €50 or more. A smaller balance carries over to the next month.
• We convert your balance from US dollars to euros at the exchange rate of the day we prepare the payout.
• We pay by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer (IBAN). The payout account must be in your name.
• When your balance first reaches €50, we ask for your payout details: your legal name, address, country of residence, payout method and account, and the country of the account. A business may add its VAT ID.
• For your safety, no payout goes out for 48 hours after your payout details or your partner e-mail change.
• We do not pay to a country of residence or a bank account country that is subject to EU sanctions.

Self-billing invoices

For each payout we issue a self-billing invoice: we draw it up on your behalf, with you as the supplier and Room Planner Ltd as the customer. You can open each invoice from your partner dashboard.

By accepting these terms, you agree that we issue these invoices on your behalf and that you do not issue your own invoices for the commission we pay. Keep your legal name, address and VAT ID up to date, and tell us if an invoice is wrong so that we can correct it.

How you may promote Home Planner

You must:

• Tell your audience that you earn a commission, for example with the words “affiliate link” next to the link.
• Mark partner links rel="sponsored".
• Describe Home Planner truthfully. For plans and prices, link to the pricing page instead of quoting a price that may change.

You must not:

• Bid on “Home Planner” in search ads.
• Post your link or code on coupon or deal sites.
• Use cookie stuffing or create any click that a visitor did not make.
• Send unsolicited messages (spam).
• Present yourself as Home Planner or as an official Home Planner channel.

Pausing and ending your membership

You can leave the program at any time: write to support@homeplannerapp.com.

We may pause your membership, or end it, if you break these terms.

While your membership is paused or after it ends, your audience gets no discount and new payments earn no commission. Commission earned before the pause or the end stays yours and is paid under these terms.

Your personal data

We use your payout details only to pay you and to keep the records the law requires. The Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We publish the new version on this page with a new date and tell you by e-mail before a change takes effect. Commission already recorded keeps the rate it was recorded at.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
